A Real Swinger

Do you feel this way some days?

Fuzzy for sake anonymity

My head spins just like this but it isn’t fun:

Too much information.

Not enough help.

Too many appointments.

So many bills.

The children need new trainers.

I have to go out again tonight.

I haven’t got in touch with Rachel.

Prepare for tomorrow’s lessons

There’s a leak in the roof.

Cut the grass.

Lay out lunch money.

Hubby’s shirts need ironing

And the list goes on…                     Can you add some your own?

How can Mindfulness help?

Mindfulness is not about putting all your thoughts out of your head.

Rather, it is sitting peacefully in this moment (oops it’s gone…and this moment, and this wonderful moment, gone and never to return and always fresh and new, the only one of its kind ever.)

Usually, you are paying attention, focussing to our breath as it goes in and then out again. You will probably feel it vividly somewhere in your body – nostrils, belly, chest

While this is happening, the negative thoughts and lists take a back seat. Feeling of calm well up. The thoughts try to push and seek your attention. But if you recognize that this is happening, just go back to your breathing, proud that you are being mindful by not getting hoodwinked into your frenzied life yet.

When you do, you will handle the ups and down better for having had a quiet break. You can do this at any time in the day, before or after something stressful.

If you are afraid of forgetting, see the Vibralite watches with 12 alarms per day to remind you to be mindful.
